The studio safety statement.

All clients and employees must comply and co-operate with the safety statement and relevant risk assessment forms to be provided by the production company whether in house or external. Our risk assessment forms can be provided via email if our clients request.

Studio health and safety are regularly reviewed and monitored for all work activities and where necessary amend and improve safety procedures. It is the responsibility of the production company to implement health and safety when they hire the studio – it is the duty of all studio employees and clients to be responsible for themselves and others at all times.

If the production company is putting either personnel or equipment or property at risk. Studio management has the authority to prevent a situation arising if the production company concerned are inactive.

It is the responsibility of the production company concerned to have full production insurance to cover all personnel, equipment and property.

If specialised stunts – fire and water are involved, then they must be supervised by experienced and qualified personnel, and full insurance taken out to cover such stunts. This is the responsibility of the production company concerned at all times.

Cineview Studios cannot be held responsible for any accidents or injuries that result from ignoring the current risk assessment, or for any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Before the shoot

Tell us about unusual loads, vehicles, work at height, effects and specialist activity. Ask for the studio risk-assessment information by email.

Your production plan

Prepare the production risk assessment and insurance information described in the statement. Plan suitably qualified people for specialist work.

When you arrive

Discuss your working area, access, equipment and questions with the studio team. Check the site-specific safety information before work starts.

For large items, shutter access, electrical requirements, rigging or effects, send the details in advance. This helps the team understand your production and the preparation required.
