Booking & hire options

What services do you offer?

We offer studio hire for photography and filming, with in-house content-production services available to discuss for photography and video. Tell us whether you need space, selected equipment, production support or a broader content brief.

How do I book the studio?

Send your dates, hours, shoot type, crew size and equipment requirements. We check availability and provide a quote. Read the booking terms and confirm payment and booking requirements with the team. An enquiry alone does not secure a booking.

Can I book a half-day, full day or a longer production?

Yes. Compare half-day, full-day, multiple-day and long-term options. Agree the exact hours and include setup and pack-down.

What is the difference between dry hire and wet hire?

Dry hire is studio space for your own kit and crew. Wet hire adds the selected equipment and support agreed in your quote. Compare the hire options before choosing.

Can I arrange a visit or recce?

Contact us to arrange a visit, especially for a vehicle, large set, recording sound or a complex production. Check directions and arrival information.

Do you have studio offers?

Ask about current student, editorial, e-commerce and multiple-day offers. Eligibility, dates and inclusions are confirmed in the quote. See studio offers.

What are the payment and cancellation terms?

Read the full terms and conditions and ask the studio to confirm the payment requirements for your booking before you commit. Full payment of the agreed hire charges is required to secure the booking and is non-refundable if you cancel. Additional charges incurred during hire are payable at the end of the session.

Space, backgrounds & power

How big is the space?

The studio footprint is 2,000 sq ft, with a 5.8m ceiling height. See the floor plan and facilities for the arrangement of shooting and support areas.

What backgrounds and studio setups are available?

We offer an infinity cove, blackout, green screen, drive-in access and an LED virtual-production setup. Confirm the background and preparation needed for your shoot.

Is the green screen pre-lit?

Yes. The green-screen background is pre-lit for your booking. Tell us about framing, subject lighting and VFX needs so the complete setup can be agreed.

Can the cove be freshly painted or painted another colour?

Yes. Discuss fresh white preparation or your chosen colour when you enquire, including finish, dates and preparation requirements. See the infinity cove page.

Does the studio have a lighting grid?

Yes. The 5.8m-high studio has an overhead lighting grid. Access equipment includes a scissor lift and hook ladders; discuss the fixtures, loads and suitably qualified operators with the team before use.

What power connections are available?

The studio lists one 63A three-phase supply with distro, three 32A single-phase connections, eight 16A single-phase connections and fourteen 13A sockets. Share your load plan and distribution requirements before booking.

Equipment & technical support

Can we bring our own equipment?

Yes. Bring your own cameras, lights and other equipment with no additional charge for bringing your kit. Load through the ground-floor shutter and share large-item, power and rigging needs in advance.

What equipment can we hire on site?

The studio’s inventory includes flash and continuous lights, modifiers, grip, frames, textiles, backgrounds and production accessories. Browse the equipment categories and downloadable PDF; confirm models, quantities and availability for your date.

Can you help us set up the lights?

Yes, lighting assistance can be discussed with the studio. Tell us the setup and support you need so roles, hours and any charges are clear in the quote.

Is every item automatically included in the hire price?

No. Confirm the exact studio, kit and support package in your quote. A production photograph or catalogue listing does not mean every item is included in every booking.

Can we record dialogue or use special effects?

Discuss sound recording, playback, haze, smoke, stunts, fire or water before booking. Arrange a recce or test where needed and read the health and safety statement.

Location, loading & parking

Where is the studio?

Is the studio on the ground floor?

Yes. The studio has ground-floor shutter access for loading equipment, props and suitable vehicles.

How large is the shutter?

The shutter opening is 3.6m wide × 3m high. Send the full dimensions, weight and access requirements of vehicles or large loads so suitability can be checked before booking.

Is parking available?

Free on-site parking is available. Confirm vehicle numbers, arrival times and loading arrangements with the team.

Can I cycle to the studio?

Yes. Clients can lock bicycles inside the studio; ask the team where to leave them. See our sustainability information.

When can we access the studio?

Access is by arrangement for your confirmed booking. Ask about early starts, evenings or longer schedules and include loading, setup and pack-down in the time you request.

Crew facilities & preparation

Do you have a green room or separate client area?

Yes. A green room and client area provide space away from the shooting floor for talent, make-up, styling and breaks.

Is there a hair and make-up area?

Yes. The studio has five hair and make-up stations. Tell us how many artists and performers are coming so your preparation can be planned.

What other facilities are available?

Facilities include a kitchen, changing space, Wi-Fi, toilets and a shower. See the facilities page for photographs and the floor plan.

What should we send before shoot day?

Share the shot list, crew size, vehicle and equipment details, timings, chosen backgrounds, power and support needs. Include specialist activity and discuss risk assessments and insurance with the team.

Can children or pets come to the studio?

The current terms state that children should only attend if directly involved in the shoot and that pets require prior permission. Discuss your production in advance and read the full terms.
